Job Description
We're looking for a talented, analytical thinker who's comfortable working in a team environment, keeping up to date with industry developments and emerging best practices, and can bring their knowledge of SEO for long-term, white-hat gains on organic traffic to our core sites. The person in this role will own SEO strategy and KPIs; execute SEO site optimizations such as keyword research, meta data, site hierarchy, and internal linking recommendations
Desired Skills and Experience
Work closely with creative, brand and production teams to ensure the most effective SEO strategy is in place during site launches and redesigns including developing site hierarchy.
Monitor current and historical data to find crawl issues, site and internal link architecture, page construction, coding errors, and other technical SEO elements.
Prepare for and respond to threats and opportunities from major Google algorithm updates.
Take a “big picture' approach to search that includes click-through, rankings, and conversions to improve both traffic numbers and user behavior.
Work closely with the paid search team to coordinate between paid and organic search
Research, make recommendations and lead on strategy for top of funnel content creation in collaboration with the Creative and Attraction and Lead Generation teams.
Grow local SEO efforts for our branch network across the USA.
Train internal teams on existing and emerging tactics; share knowledge as an ongoing practice; assist in onboarding new team members; advocate SEO in internal processes
Regularly evaluate and analyze websites and data to make suggestions about SEO-related enhancements.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of SEO in generating increased web traffic and organic revenue.
Requirements/Skills
2-4 years of direct SEO experience; experience in other areas of digital marketing a plus
Strategic and holistic understanding of all aspects of SEO, including but not limited to technical implementations, content strategy and link earning
A proven background in search optimization Advanced experience using Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, and other SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Xenu, Moz, and related.
Stay up to date with industry trends
Four years college degree.
Must be able to act independently and coordinate responsibilities multiple ongoing projects across brands.
Solid interpersonal and group communication skills in both a verbal and written format
