The Senior Network Engineer is a critical member of the Enterprise Infrastructure organization, reporting to the Manager of Network Engineering. The Senior Engineers will work closely with network operations to ensure the stability and performance of networks while keeping a proactive eye on the infrastructure. They will also be required to carry out other Network and VoIP related activities and projects as specified by the Manager of Network & Security Services. Overview: Network architecture The design and strategy of the company's voice and data networks Provide Expert level LAN/WAN and VoIP engineering support for the tools and systems the team manages. Providing second level incident response for incidents reported by the monitored systems and/or the operations team. Eight or more years of experience in the network industry Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technology field or equivalent in comparable work experience within the network field. Significant experience with Cisco (IOS/NX-OS) and Juniper (JUNOS) equipment. Experience implementing and maintaining Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, and UCCX High level of experience with a variety of operating systems (Windows/Linux/Unix/Mac) Experience with service provider level QoS and Traffic Engineering is a plus Experience monitoring traffic and utilization with SNMP and Flow based tools is preferred Multisite enterprise DNS & DHCP is preferred Experience with F5 BigIP LTM & GTM is preferred Expert knowledge of MPLS and VPLS on Junos Expert knowledge of enterprise and data center routing and switching.
