Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior developers, product managers and user experience designers to define, scope, prototype, and iterate e-commerce features with the goals of improving conversion and creating a streamlined, engaging e-commerce experience across platforms and devices. Evaluate new features against existing extensions to determine if custom development is needed. Write and maintain custom extensions and templates where needed. Multitask and prioritize projects, while remaining organized in a changing environment. Be Passionate about technology and development by constantly reading and learning about new technologies and methodologies and applying them to day-to-day work. Requirements: Passionate: for all things digital; innovative thinker with a good eye for the Web and interest in emerging trends; action-oriented, hungry to make an impact on a fast growing B2B e-com property Technical: 5+ years object oriented development experience, 3+ years developing in PHP, strong SQL skills, familiarity with GIT version control, solid experience with APIs and Web services, excellent understanding of web technologies CSS/JavaScript/HTML5 (ability to use frameworks or write custom for specific cases) Proven: experience delivering truly responsive applications for desktop, tablet, and handsets; front-end development experience (ability to execute or prototype designs) Educated: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably CS) Self-Starting: requires constant innovation and a willingness to try new things, familiarity with agile development methodologies
