Job DescriptionSenior Manager Sales Analysis & Client Consulting-xxxxDescriptionJob duties include but are not limited to the following:•Manages a team or work unit that performs high level analysis for external groups including financial, operational, compliance, and clinical information•Leads and directs account information analysts in attaining operational, quality, and customer services goals in helping Florida Blue sales unit in delivering an integrated outcome to the market•Continues to encourage new ideas, designs, and approaches in creating a consultative, value-driven message to the market•Provides direction, coaching and oversight of direct staff on a daily basis including but not limited to technical support, sales support and presentations, and high level of analytic support.•Responsible for building out and executing through team of analysts and effective and efficient quality control process•Develops and sponsors tactics to achieve business unit objectives•Supports Director in managing multiple projects to enhance Florida Blue technical, process, and personnel capabilities•Experience establishing, implementing and managing effective work processes within a large organizational structure•Responsible for continually monitoring, evaluating, and providing feedback on project, processes, and programs to enhance analyst and MACG team effectiveness•Provides consultative services both internally and externally around the informational needs of clients•Works through complexities associated with coordination across multiple areas, conflicting efforts and limited resources•Moderate to heavy keying requiredJob Requirements:•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience•5+ years general healthcare experience to include 3+ years of direct management experience defined as leading teams and managing financial resources•5+ years of relevant functional or project/initiative management experience•Direct experience with managing sales and analytics support teams•Demonstrated ability to lead people, processes, and outcomes•Experience executing superior business plans and strategies•Must have strong demonstrable experience in sales support, large data analysis, and solid technical experience including work with Enterprise Warehouses, SQL / SAS, or other BI Toolset's•Occasional travel (including overnight)Business Specific Criteria (preferred skills):•MBA/MHA or Advanced Degree in Analytics/Statistics•Experience working in a healthcare sales environment•Experience with Florida Blue systems, applications and technology•Experience with Florida Blue reporting and consulting capabilities•Experience with Florida Blue Sales and Renewal Process•Experience with large account decision makers and their consultants•Critical Thinking•Working with Financial Information•Acting as a Champion for Change•Evaluating and Implementing Ideas•Displaying technical expertise•Servicing Customers and Communicating complex information effectively•Ability to Understand complex health information•Solid follow-through and commitment to executing on commitments•Acting Decisively•Managing Performance•Inspiring and Motivating Others•Driving Continuous ImprovementPrimary LocationJacksonvilleOther LocationsLake Mary, Tampa, MiamiOrganizationBlue Cross Blue Shield of FlaScheduleFull-timePosting DeadlineOngoing
