Sr. Financial Analyst - (Jacksonville) in Jacksonville, Florida For Sale
Job Summary: Analyze, plan and understand the companys financial position, support, baseline planning, and actual cost verification, preparation of Estimates at Completion (EAC), variance analysis, manpower projections, revenue and profit forecasting. Provide general support to the Program Manager/Program Team with business and financial analysis, and, financial reports for Site Management. Specific Job Responsibilities: 1. Understand the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the Strategic Guide Plan process and help prepare program bookings, revenue, operating profit, investment and cash flow data. Support Proposal Preparations including: Bid - No Bid requirements; Cost Estimating; Pricing; RFP Review; Risk Mitigation; and Negotiation. Provide support related to the compliant development and implementation of cost/price proposals and related administrative activities for US Government cost-reimbursement contracts 2. Responsible for administrative support related to the contract including calculation of overhead and labor rates, labor distributions, DS-1 and incurred cost submissions. Interpret and apply Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to business situations 3. Accountable for the accuracy of cost elements related to the contracts and preparation of consolidated invoices according to contracting terms and conditions and Cost Accounting Standards 4. Establish Performance Measurement Baseline and provide ongoing account and program analysis and identification of variances. Critically review and challenge cost estimates and forecasts 5. Accountable for delivery of monthly reports to various stakeholders according to predetermined schedules 6. Manage compliance to Cost Accounting Standards and Embraer rules and SOP's 7. Manage subcontractor invoices and review for compliance to contract terms 8. Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations and provide timekeeping KPIs and tracking of actuals to plan 9. Conduct analytical studies, monitor trends and interpret the results 10. Support of government compliance and audit activities 11. Works closely with Embraer Holdings, Embraer SA, Vendors (Payroll, Benefits, etc.), customers, etc. to ensure proper understanding of finance policies, practices and procedures. Carries out finance activities for specific programs. 12. Understand how job costs are collected and billed on all contract types. Analyzes potential tax and IFRS and CAS impact related to changes in organizational operations and structure. 13. Assists in the development of ERP system functionality and makes recommendations to management related to potential ERP system improvements. 14. Performs other duties as assigned.
