Job Description
Are you an energetic self starter looking for an opportunity with excellent earning potential and unlimited growth possibilities? Are you an experienced outside sales individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit living in the Florida area: particularly in the East coast, covering the entire I-95 corridor from Jacksonville to Miami?
Nouveau Eyewear is seeking an experienced, fashion conscious sales professional to join our direct sales force. Nouveau Eyewear is a leading provider of frames to independent opticians, optometrists and ophthalmologists. This position includes such brands as Realtree, Van Heusen, Nickelodeon, Kay Unger, Phoebe Couture, Hot Kiss, Fleur de Lis and Caravaggio. Our compensation package includes a base plus bonus incentives for those Sales Representatives who achieve/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals. Your income is based on your efforts. Some overnight travel is required. This is an independent contractor position (no employee benefits) and all candidates will be subject to a background check. College degree and optical sales experience are preferred.
Requirements, Duties and Responsibilities:
Extensive cold calling and in person visits for the purpose of developing a buying relationship.
Proven ability to meet and exceed specified sales quotas and revenue targets, prospecting and developing new and existing accounts, and growing strategic relationships.
Experienced with time, territory and call cycle management.
Excellent organizational and reporting abilities, with weekly reports to management.
High energy, stamina and resourcefulness with the ability to be on the road 5 days per week.
Have reliable transportation and be able to carry and lift multiple sample bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
