Job Description
Summary:
The RN - Dialysis provides direct nursing care to patients with kidney disease/failure in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Works collaboratively with other disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Maintains and troubleshoots dialysis equipment.
Education & Experience:
Inpatient hemodialysis experience preferred and/or critical care experience required.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required.
ASN or BSNpreferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. ACLS required within six months from hire.
Florida Department of Health Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) licensure required.
